ADN460 Multimedia Studio's Interactive Mirror to be displayed during Studio Crawl hours…
Design Council is having Studio Crawl on Friday, April 28, 2006, from 6-10 p.m. This year's event will be different from previous years'. Due to the university's new Alcohol Policy, this Studio Crawl will be an Alcohol-Free Studio Crawl. The point of Studio Crawl is viewing and experiencing the work our students have done this year. Students, alumni and design community friends are invited.Design Council has been hard at work to re-design the event for optimum enjoyment, adding new features such as a slide show in the courtyard (of photos from this year in the COD) and live performances (by an Arabic Jazz-Funk Fusion band called Jaafar and a belly dancing troupe).Instead of having a big dinner at the Egg and then each department having a certain type of alcohol to serve, we have divided the food and (former) alcohol budget among the departments, and each department is coming up with a theme for their food and hosting. The Studio Crawl will function like a Progressive Dinner.
For more information, contact the Design Council at designcouncil@gmail.com or students are encouraged to come to Design Council meetings Wednesdays at 4:45 at the Egg!
